Direct replacement with double power. Designed to put enough power to run all existing electrics and supply additional features like air conditioning and more. Comes with built in internal regulator and will fit existing cowling.
For the 964/993 we can supply either 240A or 180A. A serpentine belt with a tensioner is recommended when installing the 240A unit. For standard double pulley and RS pulley arrangements we recommend the 180A unit.
Please note: This alternator is supplied with additional lead cables that are mandatory to fit with this unit.
Red cable - Battery lead. Connect from main battery feed on alternator to starter solenoid.
Black cable - Earth lead. Connect from alternator through bolt or fan cowling to crank casing.
